Quality of Education & Care: Stone Bay strives for excellence. Leaders and managers are robustly focused on maintaining our strengths, and acting on identified areas of improvement, including feedback from challenge partners and OFSTED |
Leadership & Management: Stone Bay staff research and develop best practices within their role/department. Managers wholeheartedly support distributed leadership empowering staff to work together to improve all aspects of provision/service “getting it right for every pupil” |
Personal Development: Pupils are supported, by well trained and trusted skilled staff, to develop introception awareness helping them to stay happy, healthy and safe. Pupils physical fitness, health and emotional needs are supported well. |
Behaviour & Attitudes: The therapeutic offer at Stone Bay, ensures that ‘The Balanced System’ is effective and offers fairness of access with highly effective and appropriate support “getting it right for every pupil” Pupil Wellbeing is supported well and RPI and risk behaviours are reduced |
Community: We are an outward facing school, with a sharp focus on supporting preparation for adulthood and inclusion in the local community. We strive to develop excellence for all autistic people and children in our locality (Thanet), whilst working in collaboration TDC, KsENT and KCC we continue ‘getting it right for our pupils” and families, whilst supporting the wider community. |
