Enrichment
Stone Bay School offers a comprehensive enrichment curriculum that includes horse riding, participation in charity events such as Comic Relief and Children in Need, community performances, and residential trips to PGL Adventure Centres.
Horse Riding: The school incorporates equestrian activities into its curriculum, providing students with opportunities to develop riding skills alongside other adventurous pursuits.
Charity Events: Stone Bay School actively engages in fundraising initiatives for causes like Comic Relief and Children in Need. These events not only raise funds but also foster a sense of community and social responsibility among students.
Community Performances: The school encourages students to participate in local cultural events, enhancing their confidence and fostering a sense of community. In June 2024 our Makaton choir performed at the Broadstairs bandstand in front of parents and local residents as part of Broadstairs Dickens week.
PGL Residential Holidays: Stone Bay School organises residential trips to PGL Adventure Centres, offering students immersive outdoor experiences that combine education with adventure. These trips typically include activities like abseiling, climbing, and orienteering, promoting personal development and teamwork.
These enrichment activities are integral to Stone Bay School's commitment to providing a holistic education that extends beyond the traditional classroom setting, aiming to develop students' skills, confidence, and sense of community.
