Attendance
Stone Bay School team is committed in its pursuit of getting it right for every pupil. Pupil attendance is closely linked to our pupils progress and overall outcomes on their EHCP. Therefore, regular attendance at school is critical. We want all students to attend every day. If your child or young person is unable to attend school due to illness then you must call the school office before 9.30am.
Working together to improve school attendance:
As a leadership team we are passionate that all our students attend school every day. Each week the leadership team look at the attendance data, we are looking for any students whose attendance may be dropping. Depending on the reason for absences we may then get in touch with you to work out a plan on how we can support your child to improve their attendance. This may be signposting you to other agencies or developing a bespoke and personalised approach to remove the barriers for attending school every day.
